ASSESSMENT SYSTEM

Promotion to the next higher class at the end of the academic year is on the basis of a scheme of continuous assessment and is in accordance with the rules decided upon by the School Examinations Committee. A student is required to achieve a minimum of 40% marks in each subject and a total aggregate of 40% marks in classes VII & VIII. In class IX the minimum requirement for promotion to Class X is 40% marks in English and four other subjects and a total aggregate of 40%. In class XI the minimum requirements for promotions into Class XII is 40% marks in English and four other subjects and a total aggregate of above 40%, as per the rules which govern the class XII CBSE Board Examination.
At the Classes IX, X, XI, & XII stage, girls are prepared for CBSE Board Examination, held at the end of Classes X & XII.
